Vision 2015-2019

Toward an outstanding faculty in the field of mathematics education,
science education, mathematics and science in 2020 based on faith and piousness.

Mission 2015-2019

  1. Performing excellent education in the field of mathematics education, science education, mathematics, and science.
  2. Accomplishing excellent research in the field of mathematics education, science education, mathematics, and science.
  3. Carrying out excellent community service in the field of mathematics education, science education, mathematics, and science.
  4. Improving good faculty governance.
  5. Enhancing local, nationwide, and international collaborations.

Goals 2015-2019

  1. To enhance students’ competences and graduates to be smart and skilled with good character (related to 1st Mission).
  2. To produce good quality content, process, and assessment of learning (related to 1st Mission).
  3. To foster lecturers and education staff to certain competences (professional) (related to 1st Mission).
  4. To provide best facilities and infrastructures for learning (related to 1st Mission).
  5. To develop new study program (related to 1st mission).
  6. To produce outstanding research (competitive and innovative) in the field of mathematics education, science education, mathematics and sciences in accordance with scientific autonomy and academic culture (related to 2nd mission).
  7. To utilize research results in the field of mathematics education, science education, mathematics and sciences for enrichment of science, technology and learning, quality improvement, progress and competitiveness of the nation, fulfilment of the needs of national development and change in knowledge-based society (related to 2nd mission).
  8. To disseminate research results in the field of mathematics education, science education, mathematics and sciences through seminars, publications, patens, and books in national and international levels.
  9. To produce high quality community service to solve problems faced by society, to utilize appropriate technology, and to develop science and science education and to enrich learning resources (related to 3rd mission).
  10. To provide good governance with excellent service (related to 4th mission).
  11. To enhance local level collaboration with higher educations in the region, local governments, businesses and industries (related to 5th mission)
  12. To enhance national level collaboration with National Ministry, Non-Ministry Government Institutions and professional organizations/ communities (related to 5th mission).

Mission 2020-2024

  1. Organizing quality education and learning in the field of mathematics and sciences to generate outstanding graduates (M1).
  2. Involving lecturers to implement Tridharma outside campus (M2).
  3. Performing innovative research and community service to solve problems and contribute for development (M3).
  4. Implementing governance and quality of public service in the faculty of mathematics and science (M4).
  5. Organizing productive local, national, and international collaborations (M5).

Goals 2020-2024

  1. To organize high quality education and learning in the field of mathematics and science MIPA (M1).
  2. To increase the percentage of graduates in finding employment, continuing studies, or becoming self-employed (M1).
  3. To increase the percentage of students who participate in “Merdeka Belajar” and achieve both national and international achievements (M1).
  4. To encourage lecturer’s involvement in implementing tridharma outside campus as practitioners in industrial world, or fostering students in achieving national and international level achievements. (M2)
  5. To carry out innovative research and community Service to solve problems and contribute to internationally recognized development (M3).
  6. To increase the percentage of permanent lecturers with doctoral degree (S3) and Professor (M4).
  7. To increase the percentage of Lecturers with competency/ professional certification recognized by industrial world and the world of work, or come from professional practitioners, the industrial world, or the world of work (M4)
  8. To increase the percentage of study programs with government-recognized accreditation or international certification (M4).
  9. To improve the quality of public services in the Faculty of Mathematics and Science (FMIPA) (M4).
  10. To increase the percentage of study programs that carry out local, national and international collaborations (M5).

Targets 2020-2024

  1. Organizing quality education and learning in the field of mathematics and sciences to generate outstanding graduates (M1).
    a. Increasing the ratio of the total number of registrants to the total number of students passing the selection.
    b. Increasing the competitiveness in the selection of new students.
    c. Increasing the level of students’ satisfaction index toward the organization of learning.
    d. Increasing the percentage of courses that utilize online learning platforms.
    e. Increasing the number of foreign students.
    f. Enhancing students’ English language skills (TOEFL Score).
    g. Increasing the number of students who are entrepreneurs.
    h. Increasing the number of courses that use case method.
  2. To increase the percentage of graduates in finding employment, continuing studies, or becoming self-employed (M1).
    a. Shortening the study period of graduates.
    b. Increasing the average GPA of graduate.
    c. Increasing the percentage of graduates who find employments.
    d. Increasing the percentage of graduates who continue their studies.
    e. Increasing the percentage of graduates who are entrepreneurs with sufficient income.
  3. To increase the percentage of students who participate in “Merdeka Belajar” and achieve both national and international achievements (M1).

    b. Achieving a minimum achievement at national level.

    c. Establishing a Science and Technology Center of Excellence (PUI-Pusat Unggulan Ipteks)
